Today I attended a wonderful program that was TED-like in format, with a roster of fantastic speakers who shared their insights on global consciousness, each from a unique perspective. We had scientists, men of the “cloth”, people who run NGO’s, and educators, each with a belief and passion about our interconnectivity with each other, and the world. The fact of the matter is that we are all connected on an energetic and transcendent plane, almost like an airstream of thoughts and energy that is flying above us that we can draw from at any time! The greatest scientists of our time including Einstein and Edison believed in this communal consciousness because of their empirical research, not in spite of it!

We are all part of this planet, one that we have to nurture, not ignore, and part of a global community that is really a brotherhood. We may appear different on the surface, but we are truly the same on the inside!

So embrace your neighbor and care about the world around you! As the wise Quakers say, “thee lift me and I’ll lift thee and together we shall ascend!”
